Wales is a 'country' but not a 'state'. <br /><br />Of course, this is further confused by the use in the USA (and the English language) of the word state to mean a province and an independent state. Other language, Welsh, for instance, makes the distinction with talaith (Wyoming, Baden-Wurttenberg), gwlad (Wales, Catalonia) and gwladwriaeth (UK, Estonia, Vatican City).david h joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04735484093259635928noreply@blogger.com
