Perhaps he should have read Mark Mazower's "The Balkans", and maybe he would have learned that the Austro-Hungarian and Ottoman empires were ancient cohesive societies held together by a social glue very different from modern nationalism, and he should also have read Frederic Morton's "Thunder at Twilight" to get an inkling of understanding into the character and person of Franz Ferdinand and the world and circumstances that made him and the ongoing tragedy his murder wrought.nilwilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01509341830272345904noreply@blogger.com
